Layered Foam Archery Targets
Black Hole Target has produced a layered foam archery target that stops arrows by squeezing them. Metal bands around vertical foam layers produces this action. Because the foam layers are very thin, arrows will slide between them rather than punching through them. The result is a foam archery target that lasts a long time. Works with field tips, broadheads and expandables on aluminum or carbon arrows.

Maryland Archery in the Schools
Maryland has become the 33rd state to adopt the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), which promotes archery education to 4th through 12th grade students via physical education classes. Topics covered include: the history of archery, safety, shooting techniques, equipment, mental concentration and self-improvement.
Students participate in indoor archery using bulls-eye targets and an arrow restraint net. NASP is the most successful archery-introduction program in history.
Information about the Maryland archery program can be obtained by contacting Doug Wigfield at 410-713-3852 or dwigfield2@dnr.state.md.us.
